Food & Beverage Supervisors
Join our team as a Food & Beverage Supervisor and help lead daily operations to deliver a seamless, high-quality guest experience.
These full-time, temporary positions work on the festival site near Salmo, BC, between July 21-28, 2026.
Food & Beverage Supervisors will be responsible for assisting the outlet Manager in performing their duties, organizing and executing the successful operation of the outlet leading to a quality experience and top notch product for guests. They will assist the outlet Manager in managing the work crew, and any tasks they assign.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with the Food and Beverage Manager in the absence of the outlet Manager.
Maintain a clean, organized and professional work space.
Account for any damaged or spoiled stock on your shift.
Oversee the preparation and restocking of all menu items.
Work with cashiers to maintain accurate records.
Train and supervise crew as directed by the Manager.
Ensure crew stays hydrated and receive regular breaks and meals.
Pick up a timesheet at Payroll office before each shift (if first shift of the day) and return to Payroll at end of shift (if last shift of the day), ensuring all crew sign in/out on the timesheet properly.
Run daily toolbox talks with all crew members at the beginning of each shift.
Understand the limits of the site and work within the parameters.
Complete Daily Journal and Post-Show reports, handing in to HR before leaving the farm.
Consult the outlet Manager in decision-making.
Continuously assess and evaluate crew performance and skills. Work with HR/outlet Manager to find solutions if someone continues to underperform.
Ability to foresee and troubleshoot potential issues, making recommendations to increase efficiency.
Ability to work with a cashless point-of-sale (POS) system.
May work in other food outlets as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Festival experience is an asset.
Experience working in Food and Beverage/Retail and processing point of sale transactions required.
Experience leading a team of 5 or more required.
Foodsafe Certification required.
Attributes & Capabilities:
Ability to provide friendly interaction with guests over short periods of time.
Ability to work with cash and items of monetary value.
Comfortable and effective in a supervisory position; able to identify and assign tasks requiring attention and provide assistance to the Manager.
Knowledgeable with SMF protocol and procedures.
Excellent communicator. Able to interact effectively with all levels of chain of command.
Capable of multitasking and prioritizing.
A committed individual and self-motivating.
Outgoing, friendly, and customer-service oriented.
Courteous, competent and persuasive with a proven ability to handle stressful situations.
Flexible and able to respond to changes in working conditions.
Comfortable working early mornings or late nights, and outdoors in potentially unfavorable weather while maintaining a positive demeanor.
Patient performing repetitive tasks.
Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism at all times when conducting operations and interacting with patrons.
Maintain awareness of the environment, sense of responsibility for fellow crew members as well as company image.
Use correct radio etiquette and procedures.
Ability to work in a culturally diverse work space without personal judgments or bias.

Pay Rate:
$19.50 per hour.
